This old school Topanga Canyon Dome House is quintessential Topanga. There are a few of these around the canyon but this is a time warp machine taking you back to 1971.
The triangular windows are a perfect backdrop to the warm lamps around the room with cozy couch and american indian rug tie in a western feel.
Wood floors and wood walls create the canvas for rustic colorful lamps and rugs a large wood burning iron fire place.
Perhaps this has already been done but I will suggest it anyway. Topanga should hold a home tour event like the city of Ojai does each year. The way it works is you find 8-10 really interesting homes with owners open to letting people look at it. The city sells tour maps to people -Ojai I remember it being $35 per person. People go around to each home and tour them. This event can be mixed with other things like a holiday market place where you have vendors selling ect. Perhaps use the Community house. The money can go to what ever the City of Topanga decides. High School /community house/Emergency preparedness ect–My Company is in Topanga Days each year and I also do the Ojai home lookin each year. I have seen it work very well for the City of Ojai they give all the $ to High School Music programs I believe.
